Medical device industry veteran tapped as company prepares to disrupt dental diagnostics
Redmond, WA, Aug. 15, 2023 – Perimetrics, Inc., an advanced artificial intelligence (AI) dental diagnostics company, today announced the appointment of Alicia Mszyca as senior director of regulatory affairs. In this role, she will oversee the regulatory, quality and technical functions of the company. Mszyca’s 27-year career has focused on the global medical and dental device industries, leading quality management systems, risk mitigation in product and software design, and post-market surveillance.

Mszyca previously served as the director of regulatory affairs and quality assurance at Swift Health Systems, Inc. where she was responsible for all global regulatory compliance and submission strategies, and implemented a quality management system as the company went through its first ISO and MDSAP certification. Prior to that, she was the director, regulatory affairs at Biolase, Inc., serving as the primary contact with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory authorities for the company and drove Emergency Use Authorization for ventilators during the COVID-19 pandemic. Mszyca started her career at Kerr Corporation, being promoted to senior manager, global compliance before leaving in 2013.
